Your Role

 

Are you a compassionate AIN looking to make a real impact? Join our supportive team at Freeman House, where you'll provide high-quality care to visitors in a safe and welcoming environment. Freeman House offers residential and inpatient alcohol and other drug treatment to adults experiencing substance-related harm and dependency. As part of our passionate and dedicated team, you’ll play a key role in delivering client-centered services, fostering a respectful and supportive space that empowers individuals on their recovery journey.

Your Responsibility

 

  • Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, dressing, mobility, feeding).

  • Monitor vital signs and report changes to RN/EN.

  • Support patient intake, admission, discharge, and documentation.

  • Administer medications and treatments as directed.

  • Provide emotional support to patients and families.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.

You Will Need

 

  • Certificate III in Individual Support/Aged Care/Disability or equivalent.

  • AHPRA registration or completion of an approved AIN program.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Understanding of infection control and safety procedures.

  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
