  • Permanent Full-time Role: Monday to Friday 
  • SCHADS Award LV4: hourly rates ranging from $41-$48 per hour.
  • Hybrid Flexibility: Enjoy a balanced work environment with both in-office and remote days.
  • Based in Armidale: will involve some travel to support across the New England & North West Region

Your Role

 

We’re seeking a Member and Community Engagement Coordinator to strengthen and support local Conferences across the New England and North West region. In this people-focused role, you’ll work alongside volunteers and community leaders to provide onboarding, technical guidance and in-person support. You’ll also help drive volunteer engagement, deliver training, and contribute to fundraising and community initiatives across the region. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills, a calm and collaborative nature, and a genuine passion for community engagement.

Your Responsibility

 

  • Support the onboarding and training of members and volunteers

  • Deliver technical advice and in-person support to Conferences

  • Conduct regular site visits across the region

  • Coordinate and participate in fundraising and community events

  • Drive volunteer recruitment initiatives including use of social media

  • Maintain records and report on engagement activity using relevant systems

  • Contribute to a safe and positive working environment

  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders across the region and broader organisation

You Will Need

 

 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and conflict resolution skills

  • Confident using Microsoft Teams, Outlook and other admin systems

  • Ability to manage competing priorities with patience and professionalism

  • Experience in volunteer/community engagement or recruitment
