An experienced Supply and Distribution Manager is required to oversee the fulfilment operations that supply stock to Vinnies stores. Based in Auburn NSW, you will report to the Statewide Supply and Distribution Manager and will be responsible for leading a team of Warehouse General Hands and Forklift Drivers. Your strong organisational skills, hands-on approach, and good focus on achieving production targets are critical to ensure efficient, accurate and timely distribution of inventory.
Your Responsibility
- Lead and supervise a team of Warehouse General Hands and Forklift drivers
- Ensure stock are sorted, picked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently
- Manage day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations
- Monitor daily productivity targets and ensure SLAs are met
- Ensure that work and safety procedures are always complied with
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve supply chain issues that may arise.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities or projects.
You Will Need
- Proven experience in supply chain or logistics management
- Excellent knowledge of inventory control and warehousing
- Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on management style with ability to coach, motivate and train team members
- Strong focus on productivity, accuracy and continuous improvement
- Current forklift licence
