Your Role

This is your chance to be the Full Time Store Manager of a brand new Vinnies store opening in Balmain, one of Sydney’s coolest, stylish neighbourhoods. We’re on the hunt for a motivated, energetic leader who’s passionate about fashion, sustainability and creating meaningful customer experiences. Driven by sales targets and KPI’s and a natural people leader, you will have the skills to win big on all levels. As the face of the store, you’ll bring the energy, drive the atmosphere and lead a passionate team in delivering real impact every day. 

Your Responsibility

  • Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers 
  • Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time 
  • Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards 
  • Meeting and exceeding sales and KPI performance of the store 
  • Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement 
  • Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community 
  • Role-modelling a 'safety first' culture in store 
  • Use the company’s mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the store. 

You Will Need

  • Experience in managing retail stores, preferably fashion and/or high-volume retail  
  • Strong leadership skills and an understanding of Visual Merchandising in retail    
  • Strong focus on customer experience 
  • Proven people management skills or experience in training, coaching and developing people
  • Proven ability to track store sales performance and drive team towards meeting sales targets
