Your Role

 

Take the lead at Bowral Youth Refuge, where you'll oversee a committed team and drive impactful programs designed to empower young people aged 16–20. In this exciting leadership role, you'll create a supportive and inclusive environment, helping vulnerable youth build confidence, develop essential life skills, and establish sustainable pathways out of homelessness. Your work will make a lasting difference in their journey toward brighter, more secure futures.You will be joining a compassionate and supportive team that values your expertise, prioritises your professional development, and empowers you to make a lasting difference in your local community.

 

Your Responsibility

  • Manage accommodation services, including resident orientation and room allocation.
  • Supervise, guide, and develop a team of youth workers.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Oversee financial management, risk compliance, and WHS practices.
  • Provide intake assessments, crisis interventions, and care planning for youth.

You Will Need

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, youth work, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience working with at-risk youth and addressing complex needs.
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and mental health/AOD support.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and program coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid NSW driver’s licence.
