Your Role

We’re looking for a compassionate Registered Nurse to join Rendu House, our specialist service supporting individuals impacted by alcohol and other drugs (AOD). In this autonomous, high-impact role, you’ll provide holistic, person-centred healthcare to clients with complex needs, many of whom are navigating AOD-related challenges. This is a unique opportunity to combine direct clinical care and community outreach within a supportive, close-knit, and purpose-driven team environment where your work will truly make a difference.

Your Responsibility

• Provide quality nursing care and health education to Rendu House clients in the AOD recovery space.

• Collaborate with GPs and healthcare providers to establish strong referral pathways.

• Deliver healthcare interventions such as the Take Home Naloxone program, Dry Blood Spot Testing program, Ambulatory Detox and Immunisations.

• Support Rendu House staff with health-related advice and capacity building.

• Contribute to improving health systems and service models that support client recovery.

• Maintain best-practice healthcare standards and adapt support to meet individual client needs.

You Will Need

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Experience in a clinical, community, hospital, or public health setting.

• A passion for working in the AOD and mental health space.

• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a dynamic setting.

• A commitment to inclusive, trauma-informed, and client-centred care.

• NSW Driver Licence (unencumbered) and willingness to undertake outreach if required.
