Your Role

 

As the Return and Earn Area Manager you will, provide leadership and strategic direction to the operation of Vinnies NSW CDS (Container Deposit Scheme) depots within the specified region, achieving the organisation’s business objectives in sales revenue, expense control and staff & volunteer development. You will also drive CDS market share through collaboration and engagement internally and with relevant external business partners.

Your Responsibility

  • Manage property and equipment leases and maintenance. 
  • Establish and maintain good working partnerships with other Vinnies enterprise managers who interface with CDS operations. 
  • Arrange recruitment, development and ongoing management of staffing. 
  • Oversee volunteer recruitment, induction, training and engagement. 
  • Work with logistics partners to ensure CDS transport services are effective. 
  • Drive a culture that exhibits high levels of customer service,and safety. 
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with CDS scheme partners. 

You Will Need

  • High level of motivation 
  • Familiarity with the NSW CDS Scheme 
  • Capacity to work collaboratively in business development 
  • Experience in team management 
  • Reporting and communication skills 
  • Driver’s licence and capacity to travel 
  • Competency in the MS Office suite eg. MS Word, Excel and Outlook
