Your Role
- Full time based in Cardiff; involves travel to various locations

The Truck Driver role will report to the Regional Transport Manager, and your primary responsibilities include collecting donated goods from donors and collections bins; and delivering stock into Vinnies shops and people we assist. You will have good people engagement skills; physical capacity to lift goods safely; and a good understanding of safety and security standards and practices in a transport/warehousing environment. Licences required for this role is either MR or HR and a LF licence.
Your Responsibility
- Ensure timely collection of donations and delivery of goods/stock.
- Implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Comply with all WHS standards and procedures relevant to warehouse and transport areas.
- Ensure the security of Vinnies assets that include goods, equipment and vehicle.
- Follow standard reporting procedures in case of damaages to vehicles
- Foster good working relationships and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Report change/s to your driver licence e.g. loss of licence; changes to your capacity (due to decline or impairment) to safely operate equipment.
You Will Need
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Professional empathy skills in working with donors and clients.
- Physical capacity to stand for long periods of time and lift goods safely.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce including employees and volunteers.
- MR or HR (Heavy Rigid) Licence.
- Forklift Licence.
