Your Role
As a Support Worker at Adele House, you will be at the heart of delivering vital support to residents, guiding them through entry assessments and ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the site.
You’ll collaborate closely with our AOD casework, inclusion, and counselling teams to provide holistic, person-centered care, ensuring residents receive the best possible support on their journey to recovery.
Your Responsibilities
- Supporting clients in a respectful, non-judgmental, and inclusive manner.
- Helping clients implement their case plans and connect to essential services.
- Contributing to the safety and well-being of staff, clients, and visitors by upholding WHS and risk management practices.
- Facilitating client activities, maintaining accommodation standards, and supporting daily operations.
- Attending regular team meetings and ensuring accurate record-keeping
You Will Need
- Minimum Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience (or currently pursuing tertiary studies).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in crisis management, with sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in data collection systems.
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster including day, afternoon and sleepover shifts.
- NSW Driver's Licence (unencumbered)
