Your Role
As a Support Worker at Adele House, you will provide support to clients at the site location and assist in the entry and assessment of new clients at the site, and in the daily running of the site.
Your Responsibility
- Supporting clients in a respectful, non-judgmental, and inclusive manner.
- Helping clients implement their case plans and connect to essential services.
- Contributing to the safety and well-being of staff, clients, and visitors by upholding WHS and risk management practices.
- Facilitating client activities, maintaining accommodation standards, and supporting daily operations.
- Attending regular team meetings and ensuring accurate record-keeping
You Will Need
- Minimum Cert IV in Community Services or relevant experience (or currently pursuing tertiary studies).
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- A team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in crisis management, with sound judgment in emergency situations.
- Sound computer literacy, particularly in data collection systems.
- Flexibility to work a roster covering day, afternoon, stand-up and sleepover shifts.
- NSW Driver's Licence (unencumbered).
