Your Role

 

In this newly created leadership role, you will have the opportunity to empower residents on their recovery journey by providing exceptional leadership to a dedicated team of caseworkers and support staff. You will oversee intake, assessment, and transportation processes, while collaborating closely with key stakeholders, including Drug Courts and MERIT, to ensure seamless and coordinated support for residents of Adele House. Adele House is a residential rehabilitation centre offering a comprehensive, holistic recovery program. It provides tailored care and support for individuals overcoming addiction, focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing, while empowering residents with the skills needed for independent living.

 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Oversee intake, assessment, and transportation processes in collaboration with key stakeholders like Drug Courts and MERIT.
  • Manage and support a multidisciplinary team of case workers and support staff.
  • Drive the implementation of the Strategic Plan and oversee efficient rostering and operations.
  • Lead the delivery of evidence-based AOD programs and promote strengths-based, recovery-oriented care.
  • Ensure data collection, reporting, and continuous quality improvement.
  • Maintain property operations, including the swimming pool, gym and flood mitigation.
  • Champion staff development, supervision, and professional growth opportunities.

You Will Need

 

  • A valid and unencumbered NSW driver’s licence.
  • TAFE Cert IV or tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Welfare, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supervision, mentoring, and managing teams in AOD or mental health settings.
  • Strong skills in case management, client assessments, and evidence-based interventions.
  • Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Knowledge of WHS, child protection legislation, and community resources.
  • Ability to navigate challenging situations with confidence and care.
