Your Role
Bring your positivity and can do attitude to a team that feels like family. This rewarding role focuses on empowering people living with disability to build independence and stay connected to their local communities. Each day you will help create an environment where people feel valued, encouraged and supported to reach their goals. You will join a compassionate team that values your expertise and invests in your development.
Your Responsibility
- Support individuals in shared accommodation, including occasional sleepover shifts
- Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, health, and wellbeing
- Help participants build independence and life skills
- Support access to community activities and social connections
- Deliver individualised, person-centred support aligned to care plans
- Provide on-the-job coaching and support to individuals in workplace settings
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders
You Will Need
- A genuine passion for supporting people with disability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in disability support or willingness to learn
- Confidence in maintaining records and documentation
- Requirements Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or willingness to obtain
- NDIS Worker Screening Check Completion
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module (or willingness to obtain)
