Your Role

In this rewarding role you will provide day-to-day leadership for teams of case workers to improve the quality and consistency of the homelessness and housing services provided to clients, and ultimately improve the likelihood successfully and sustainably house clients.

 

 

 

Your Responsibility

  • Ensure adherence to budget parameters and propose improvement strategies where applicable to meet funding targets for the Service Package.
  • Supervise case management and support services across community-based and crisis accommodation settings.
  • Foster and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Implement the Service Package in compliance with Department of Communities and Justice requirements.
  • Support the Regional team in local problem solving and collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Maintain operational levels for homelessness and housing services, including case management and outreach.
  • Co-design services and programs with clients. 
  • Establish effective risk management protocols for legal and governance compliance.
  • Coordinate onsite accommodation services, including room allocation, inspections, and reporting.
  • Manage internal supply of essential items with regular monitoring and communication.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities such as accreditation and policy reviews.

 

 

 

You Will Need

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications including social work, youth work, community services or management.
  • NSW Driver License
  • Sound knowledge of the specific service industry requirements to support clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
  • Proven ability to apply advanced analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills within a complex operating environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in management positions in a human services environment, particularly with the development and delivery of outcome focused services.
