We're looking to fill a full-time Store Manager position in a small Vinnies store with a charming ambience and located in scenic Dural, northwest of Sydney.   As Store Manager, you will be instrumental in growing the store's customer base and driving sales performance to a competitive level.  Your ability to inspire team members, proven retail operations and people management skills are vital for you to thrive well in this role.   Your eye for great fashion and styling; superb visual merchandising skills, and passion for excellent customer service will provide additional advantage for your success.

 

Your Responsibility

  • Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers
  • Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time
  • Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards
  • Meeting and exceeding sales and KPI performance of the store
  • Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement
  • Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community
  • Role-modelling a 'safety first' culture in store
  • Use the company’s mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the store

You Will Need

  • Experience in managing retail stores, preferably fashion, and/or high-volume retail 
  • Strong leadership skills; with good fashion sense   
  • Strong focus on customer experience
  • Proven people management skills or Experience in managing people, training and coaching
  • Proven ability to track store sales performance and drive team towards meeting sales targets
