Your Role
If you’re ready to move to the next level in your retail career, don’t miss this opportunity! We are seeking a confident and talented Shop Supervisor to work at our Vinnies store in Ermington. This role is permanent full-time 38 hours per week, on Tuesday - Saturday roster. Reporting to the Cluster Manager, you will primarily be responsible for managing the day-to-day store operations and supervision of staff and volunteers. Your strong communication skills are essential for accurately and promptly executing directives from the Cluster Manager and/or the Area Manager. Making great sales is critical, hence, your talent for creating eye-catching in-store and window displays will be a major asset in drawing customers in.
Your Responsibility
- Manage day-to-day store operations; provide clear instructions and guidance to staff and volunteers
- Inspire cooperation and team spirit among staff and volunteers; be a model for excellent customer service
- Effectively track budget, stock, sales performance
- Ensure all cash sales are accounted for and correctly prepared for daily banking
- Ensure compliance with security and safety procedures
- Report to the Cluster Manager on store operation and staff matters on a regular basis
You Will Need
- Experience in supervising a team in a retail environment
- Flexibility to work weekends and extended opening hours as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Willingness to learn and work with financial targets and budgets
