The Business Development Specialist is part of the Commercial Enterprise team that reports to the Business Development Manager.  The role’s core responsibilities include growing the existing businesses operated by the Commercial Enterprise team; and seeking out potential new businesses and initiatives to generate funds for the Society’s good works.  You will have proven project and operational management skills and experience to successfully oversee implementation of initiatives. 

 

Your Responsibility

  • Actively pursue securing new customers for the existing Commercial Enterprise businesses.
  • Actively promote the expansion of Commercial Enterprise's existing business units
  • Research and respond to needs of new markets, including the identification and monitoring of competitors.
  • Assist with engaging external and internal stakeholders coordinating meetings and stakeholder information.
 

 

You Will Need

  • Relevant experience in business and/or sales.
  • Sound business acumen demonstrated through innovation and sales.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial success and ability to identify and act on market opportunities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • NSW driver licence.
