Your Role

 

As Director People Experience, you will lead a high performing team and shape the full employee lifecycle within a complex, purpose led organisation. In this diverse role you will deliver strategic business partnering, expert advisory support and high quality case management, ensuring leaders are equipped to build engaged, capable and high performing teams across the Society. 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Partner with senior leaders to address workforce challenges, opportunities and risk

  • Provide trusted, data led advice to inform executive decision making

  • Lead the delivery of contemporary people frameworks, tools and processes

  • Drive engagement, workforce planning and performance initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, awards and agreements

  • Build strong collaboration across Safety and Emergency Management, Employment Relations, People Operations, and Culture and Organisational Development

  • Develop capability and bench strength within your team

  • Champion change and continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle

You Will Need

 

  • Extensive experience supporting senior leaders in complex organisations

  • A data driven, commercially informed approach to workforce strategy

  • Proven success leading initiatives that lift engagement and performance

  • Strong employment legislation knowledge and experience in unionised environments

  • The ability to navigate ambiguity and organisational dynamics with confidence

  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills

  • Experience building and leading high performing teams

  • A pragmatic, solutions focused mindset aligned to organisational values

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
