Your Role

As the Grants Advisor you will, identify opportunities and generate revenue through grant applications and private and philanthropic trusts that align with goals of the business.

Your Responsibility

  • Conducting funder research to identify grant prospects of trusts and foundations, corporate or
    business foundations/grants and government using a grants management system and CRM.
  • Understand Vinnies programs, services, facilities and locations that can be supported by grant
    funding.
  • Prepare, write and submit successful funding applications, applying a persuasive writing style
    and compelling case for support.
  • Collate, develop and maintain a repository of capability, organisation and service /product
    content to help build grants knowledge base and streamline the writing process.
  • Follow the relevant policies and procedures including the pre-submission approvals and allow
    sufficient review time for Manager and internal stakeholders.
  • Support the acquittal activity as required, to meet reporting requirements.

You Will Need

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s in communication and/or experience in research and
    professional writing.
  • Demonstrated ability and expertise in writing grant submissions and successfully obtaining
    funding from grants and philanthropic activities.
  • Demonstrated ability and expertise in project and operational management to oversee
    effective implementation of initiatives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiating and relationship management skills, with a proven ability
    to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • NSW driver licence.
