Your Role
Are you a strategic relationship-builder who can turn opportunities into meaningful impact? Join Vinnies NSW as our next Manager Grants, Trusts & Foundations and help drive lasting social change across NSW. In this influential role, you’ll secure major grants and philanthropic funding, build strong partnerships and lead a high-performing function that supports communities experiencing disadvantage. Working across our Commercial Enterprise, Retail & Fundraising Directorate, you’ll collaborate with leaders across the organisation to identify funding opportunities that deliver real community impact.
Your Responsibility
- Lead the implementation of the Grants, Trusts & Foundations Strategy aligned to organisational priorities
- Develop and grow funding opportunities across government grants, trusts and foundations
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of Grants Advisors to deliver strong funding outcomes
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with funders and key stakeholders
- Write and oversee compelling grant submissions and funding applications
- Manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, ensuring deadlines, reporting and compliance obligations are met
- Partner with internal teams to identify innovative projects and programs suitable for funding
- Drive measurable growth across grants, trusts & foundations, income and multi-year funding streams
You Will Need
- Bring proven experience in grants, trusts & foundations
- Be a strategic thinker who can balance big picture planning with hands-on delivery
- Have exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Demonstrate strong project management capabilities and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Be confident writing persuasive and impactful submissions
- Thrive working collaboratively across large and complex organisations
- Have experience using CRM and grant management systems
- Be passionate about community impact, social justice and creating meaningful change
