Your Role
Love social media, storytelling and creating content that actually connects with people? As our Digital Marketing Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in bringing Vinnies’ campaigns to life across social and digital channels, helping grow awareness, engagement and impact. Sitting within the Strategy and Engagement Directorate, you’ll work closely with our Communications and Marketing teams to support major fundraising campaigns, retail growth and always-on digital activity, all while helping tell powerful, human stories in a way that feels authentic, relevant and on trend.
Your Responsibility
- Planning and developing engaging content for social media channels to support campaign and engagement goals
- Sourcing and shaping stories in a modern, relatable style that resonates with Vinnies audiences
- Creating social content and assets, including short-form video, using platforms such as TikTok, Meta and Canva
- Supporting paid social activity across Meta and TikTok, including boosted posts and campaigns
- Writing, scheduling and publishing social content and paid ads in line with brand guidelines
- Supporting community management across active social platforms
- Monitoring performance, analysing key metrics and contributing to clear monthly reporting
- Supporting major fundraising campaigns, including Appeals and the Vinnies CEO Sleepout
- Collaborating with the Communications team to align content across social, web, email and digital channels
- Staying across digital trends, competitor activity and audience behaviour to inform content and campaign activity
You Will Need
- Have 1–2+ years’ experience in a marketing, digital or content role (or be studying marketing or a related field)
- Be passionate about social media, content creation and digital trends, especially Meta and TikTok
- Enjoy creating content, experimenting with formats and bringing ideas to life
- Be comfortable working autonomously while collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Have strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
- Bring experience using digital tools such as social platforms, scheduling tools, video editing software, CMS and email platforms
- Be motivated by purpose, values and creating meaningful impact through your work
Desirable:
- NSW Driver Licence
- Interest in fashion, sustainability and addressing inequality
- A passion for retail marketing and learning
- Experience working in a large or complex organisation
