Your Role
- Permanent full-time
- Flexibility to work in Coffs Harbour, Newcastle or Armidale
- Regular travel within the North region; occasional travel to Sydney; a valid NSW driver licence is required

The Mission and Formation Regional Partner is in the Mission and Formation directorate, and is responsible for state-wide coordination of mission engagement, formation and pastoral care across all services and programs, and the promotion of the Vincentian Way. The role’s primary objective is to develop and lead mission engagement and pastoral care support across the region. Delivering formation in Vincentian spirituality and the Society’s mission, vision, values and social principles across all directorates within the region is also an important part of the role. You will need flexibility to travel regularly across the North Region that includes Coffs Harbour, Newcastle and Armidale.
Your Responsibility
- Contribute to the successful implementation of the Society’s Strategic Plan 2023-2028 and the Mission Strategy across the organisation.
- Support all areas of work and manage pastoral care and mission engagement in collaboration with partners and regional directors.
- Support all areas of work to integrate the Society’s mission, vision and Catholic heritage.
- Promote the Vincentian Way, adherence of The Rule, values and Code of Conduct, supporting its integration into daily activities across the Society
- Support internal stakeholders i.e. Presidents and Members of Regional and Central Councils.
- Connect with and provide Vincentian spirituality resources and formation for Conferences/Councils, Vinnies Services and Early Intervention programs.
You Will Need
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s. (Social Work/Education/Health Care/Theology etc)
- Sound understanding and application of Catholic Social Teaching Principles
- Knowledge of pastoral care, spirituality and contemporary theology
- Understanding a lay Catholic culture, Catholic church structure and its mission
- Capability to promote and model the ethos and mission of the Society in all interactions with members, staff, volunteers and members of the broader community.
- NSW driver licence.
- Ability to travel regularly across the region and to Sydney on occasion.
