Your Role

 

Challenge yourself to support the delivery of People and Culture services across a diverse and mission-driven organisation. Supporting our Senior People and Culture Partners, this role works closely with leaders to provide timely advice, coaching and guidance on day to day people matters and to support the implementation of People and Culture initiatives. This is a hands-on partnering role suited to a generalist who enjoys balancing advisory work with practical implementation.

 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Provide timely, pragmatic advice on performance management, conduct, grievances and employee lifecycle matters

  • Support leaders to apply policies, awards and enterprise agreements, partnering with Employment Relations where required

  • Coach managers to build effective, engaged and high-performing teams

  • Identify and manage people-related risks, escalating complex matters appropriately

  • Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with People Services

  • Contribute to engagement, learning, leadership development and change initiatives

  • Maintain accurate documentation and case management records

  • Promote safe work practices and uphold health and safety responsibilities

You Will Need

 

  • Proven generalist HR experience partnering with leaders across the full employee lifecycle

  • Experience contributing to and delivering People and Culture initiatives aligned to organisational priorities

  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments

  • A practical, consultative approach with the ability to assess business needs and provide balanced, solution-focused advice

  • The ability to work autonomously within scope, build trusted stakeholder relationships and appropriately escalate complex matters

  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service-driven mindset
