Your Role
As our People and Culture team continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced P&C professional to join us in a hands-on partnering role within a diverse and complex organisation. Working alongside our Senior People and Culture Partners, you will collaborate closely with leaders to provide timely advice, coaching and guidance across a broad range of people matters, while supporting the delivery of strategic People and Culture initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced P&C generalist who enjoys balancing trusted advisory support with hands-on implementation and is looking to further develop their partnering capability. With exposure to a wide variety of people challenges, projects and initiatives, you'll have the opportunity to build your expertise while creating a pathway towards a Senior People and Culture Partner role or other career opportunities within Vinnies.
Your Responsibility
- Provide timely, pragmatic advice on performance management, conduct, grievances and employee lifecycle matters
- Support leaders to apply policies, awards and enterprise agreements, partnering with Employment Relations where required
- Coach managers to build effective, engaged and high performing teams
- Identify and manage people related risks, escalating complex matters appropriately
- Support workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with People Services
- Contribute to engagement, learning, leadership development and change initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and case management records
- Promote safe work practices and uphold health and safety responsibilities
You Will Need
- Proven generalist HR experience partnering with leaders across the full employee lifecycle
- Experience contributing to and delivering People and Culture initiatives aligned to organisational priorities
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation and industrial instruments
- A practical, consultative approach with the ability to assess business needs and provide balanced, solution focused advice
- The ability to work autonomously within scope, build trusted stakeholder relationships and appropriately escalate complex matters
- Excellent communication skills with a collaborative, service driven mindset
- Current NSW drivers licence with the ability to travel to various Vinnie's sites across NSW as required
