Your Role

 

As Property Portfolio Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our property footprint across NSW - delivering safe, modern, and purpose-driven spaces that empower our clients, members, volunteers and staff to thrive. This is a diverse and hands-on role that spans the full property lifecycle. From early-stage planning of innovative mixed-use developments to driving sustainability initiatives, navigating complex compliance, managing risk, and ensuring our properties are fit for today and future-ready. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to both the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of our long-term property vision. Working closely with internal teams and external experts, you’ll help deliver impactful outcomes that support our mission and the communities we serve. 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Supporting the development and execution of the strategic property plan across acquisitions, divestments, and mixed-use developments

  • Managing a range of property matters, including strata schemes, encroachments, easements and land use issues

  • Contributing to environmentally sustainable initiatives (e.g. solar, LED, battery) and energy management

  • Assisting with business cases, funding submissions and planning documentation

  • Helping to develop and maintain asset management plans and life-cycle forecasts

  • Managing reporting dashboards on key programs and project status

  • Coordinating insurance renewals, claims and valuations in conjunction with the Facilities team

  • Ensuring compliance with safety, audit, accreditation, and risk standards

  • Contributing to budgeting processes across both operational and capital expenditure

You Will Need

 

  • Experience in managing projects

  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle planning, compliance and reporting

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across diverse property types

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills

  • Strong written communication skills and experience preparing reports and business cases

  • Analytical mindset with confidence using property data and systems for decision-making

  • A collaborative, client-focused approach with a commitment to quality service delivery

Desirable Criteria

 

  • NSW Drivers Licence
