Join Vinnies as Retail Area Manager to oversee the network of stores in the Central Coast area. This is an exciting opportunity not to be missed, showcase your exceptional retail management skills, execute dynamic sales strategies to drive revenue growth, and implement business and people development initiatives. You will aim to continue Vinnies stores' competitive edge in the retail industry. You will work with diverse retail teams with high level of commitment to providing customers with excellent shopping experience. Your proven success in managing multiple stores, achieving sales targets and leading/inspiring team members are highly critical to this role.
Your Responsibility
- Lead, grow and develop teams of paid employees and volunteers
- Ensure extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time
- Embed high level operational and visual merchandise standards
- Meet and exceed sales and KPI performance of the stores
- Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement
- Build and support the volunteer workforce and engage with the local community
- Role-model a 'safety first' culture in stores
- Use the company’s mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the stores.
You Will Need
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in business, management and/or retail and demonstrated significant experience working in the management of large retail outlet/s.
- Demonstrated ability in successfully leading retail and supply chain operations.
- Proven people management skills including leading, motivating, coaching and developing teams.
- Proven ability to review and analyse business data and analytics to enable effective reporting and decision-making on operational performance.
- Financial acumen and experience in managing P&L
- High-level understanding of current issues facing the retail sector and not for profit industry.
- NSW driver licence and ability to travel across the region.
