The Role
Working within the Vinnies Services directorate, the Senior People and Culture Business Partner acts as the HR business lead to a broad stakeholder group, working closely with leaders, including the Executive Director of Vinnies Services, Directors of Divisions, and Managers.
This position encompasses ownership of a broad range of people activities, including coaching and advising leaders on people-related matters such as performance management, workplace concerns, and grievances. The role will also play a key role in co-leading and implementing people strategies, initiatives, and programs across Vinnies Services. You will need to support the dynamic and fast-paced environment of Vinnies Services, where communication, stakeholder management, and getting operational is pivotal for success in this role.
The Senior People and Culture Business Partner drives People and Culture initiatives, such as employee engagement strategies, business transformation activities, and leadership development, while ensuring ongoing alignment with the culture and ways of working across Vinnies Services. You will collaborate and work closely with other People and Culture team members.
You Will Need:

Comprehensive generalist HR expertise, with a track record of partnering with leaders to advise on and manage end-to-end people processes, delivering tailored solutions that meet the needs of the organisation.

Experience in co-developing and executing People and Culture strategies that are aligned with business objectives, ensuring seamless impact through consultative input.

Strong consultative approach to customer service, leveraging business acumen to assess needs, offer tailored solutions, and drive organisational success through proactive engagement.

Proven ability to work autonomously, building trust with stakeholders, managing diverse perspectives, coaching and mentoring, and delivering innovative solutions that align with both client objectives and organisational priorities.

NSW Driver’s License required, with willingness and flexibility to travel as needed to support service needs.
