Your Role
As the Senior Risk Officer, you will be responsible to Provide high level risk and compliance advice; ensure the Society effectively meets its legislative, regulatory and compliance requirements; and embed effective risk and compliance frameworks across the Society.
Your Responsibility
- Facilitate development and maintenance of the Society’s risk registers
- Help embed the systematic identification, evaluation and mitigation of risk in business-as-usual practice across the organisation
- Provide advice and support to the organisation to increase our maturity in risk management
- Support implementation of an enterprise-wide Compliance Framework, ensuring compliance obligations are understood, managed and reported on
- Support service accreditation processes and external body audits
- Oversight business continuity plans
You Will Need
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s and/or experience in risk and compliance in the government or not-for- profit sector.
- Experience in implementing best practice risk and compliance frameworks.
- Project management experience in a government or not for profit environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to develop reports, briefing papers and other documents accurately and in short time frames.
