- SCHCADS Award rates from $37 to $40.05 per hour.
- Maximum term Part-Time Role: 25.25 hours per week on a rotating roster.

Your Role
Provide compassionate support to women and families experiencing domestic violence or crisis. Assist with client entry, assessments, case plan implementation, and the daily operations of the refuge. You will be joining a compassionate and supportive team that values your expertise, prioritises your professional development, and empowers you to make a lasting difference in the community.
Your Responsibility
- Deliver respectful, client-centered support using trauma-informed care principles.
- Completing client assessments, assist with case plan implementation, and welcoming families into centre.
- Maintain a safe, welcoming environment in line with WHS standards.
- Keep accurate records and collaborate with case management to address client needs.
- Support clients through activities, advocacy, and transportation as needed.
You Will Need
- Availability to work the below rotating roster:
- Week 1: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM.
- Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM, & Saturday, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Qualifications or equivalent experience in a community services related field
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and remain calm in crises.
- Compassionate, ethical, and non-judgmental approach.
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and its application in the workplace.
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid NSW Driver Licence.
