Your Role
As Team Leader – Supports in Employment, you will oversee daily operations, work alongside people with disability to achieve employment goals and inspire your team to deliver outstanding results. We are seeking a strong, motivated leader to grow our supported open employment services by building employer partnerships, strengthening community connections, and delivering training that opens the door to meaningful job opportunities for people with disability
Your Responsibility

Manage all aspects of the program, providing end-to-end support for people with disability, from preparing for employment, to job placements and continuing person-centred support once in the workforce.

Partner with hiring teams and organisations to build their capacity and foster inclusive workplaces.

Deliver workplace disability confidence training to potential employers and hiring teams

Facilitate job readiness training with participants

Manage a team of Employment Coaches and ensure participants’ individual employment goals are set and regularly reviewed, actively worked towards and achieved, while monitoring progress for outcomes, impact and continuous improvement.

Ensure compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, including maintaining accurate and up-to-date participant records, file notes, goals, and plans.

Conduct workplace risk assessments, to ensure a safe working environment.

Promote a safe workplace for staff and volunteers by implementing best practice health and safety measures including effective risk management processes.
You Will Need

Ability to thrive in a constantly evolving sector, demonstrating confidence, energy and strong connections to drive program growth.

Relevant tertiary qualification and/or proven experience in the disability sector.
-
Strong interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.

Experience in working with and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans.

Proven experience in staff supervision and site management.
-
High level of computer literacy.

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience conducting learning needs analysis.

NDIS New Worker Screening and completion of The NDIS Worker Orientation Module – Quality, Safety & You (or willingness to obtain).

Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before commencing)

Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
