Your Role

We’re on the lookout for a Volunteer Engagement & Recruitment Coordinator who will champion our incredible volunteer community. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that attract, engage and retain volunteers across our programs and services. From innovative recruitment strategies to building lasting partnerships, you’ll make sure every volunteer feels welcomed, empowered and appreciated. This is an job where you’ll be actively engaged with people every day. Whether it’s improving onboarding experiences, supporting regional teams or discovering new ways volunteers can make a difference, you’ll be at the heart of bringing people and purpose together.

Your Responsibility

  • Drive strategies to recruit and retain volunteers across NSW.
  • Create and deliver engaging volunteer experiences that keep people coming back.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to improve onboarding, training and support.
  • Build partnerships that open up new opportunities for volunteer involvement.
  • Ensure our volunteers feel valued, connected and part of something bigger.

You Will Need

  • Experience in volunteer management, community engagement or stakeholder relations.
  • A natural people person with great communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
  • Tech-savvy with confidence managing databases and digital tools.
  • Someone who genuinely loves working with volunteers and appreciates the unique contribution they make.
  • Valid NSW Drivers License and ability to travel to Vinnies sites across NSW.
