Your Role
In this impactful leadership role, you’ll drive youth engagement across NSW by leading statewide strategies and supporting a vibrant network of schools and youth engagement officers. You’ll deliver key initiatives focused on youth and schools, playing a vital part in increasing young people’s involvement and fostering meaningful connections within the Society. In this diverse role you will also lead major recruitment campaigns to attract new youth volunteers and members across the regions, while staying responsive to emerging trends and challenges by adapting strategies and finding creative solutions. You’ll be joining a supportive and inclusive team that values your contribution and offers plenty of room for both personal and professional growth.
Your Responsibility
- Lead, support, and manage direct reports working on youth and member engagement projects.

Coordinate and implement state-wide youth engagement strategies aligned with the Society’s Strategic Plan.

Collaborate with senior leadership to develop retention strategies and transition pathways for young members.

Facilitate connections and collaboration between youth staff, volunteers, and members across NSW.

Design, update, and distribute resources to support youth and school engagement initiatives.

Lead internal communications using technology and social media to engage the youth network.

Organise forums, events, and campaigns to promote learning, spiritual growth, and volunteer recruitment.

Utilise data and CRM systems to monitor programme success and prepare reports.

Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and risk management practices.

Support recruitment campaigns, including major annual events and ongoing volunteer drives.
You Will Need

Experience working with young people, ideally with an education background or relevant experience in youth engagement.

Proven leadership skills with experience managing direct reports.

Highly adaptable and proactive; comfortable in a flexible, non-routine role.

Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple regions.

Ability to analyse trends, identify challenges, and develop creative solutions.

Current driver’s license required due to occasional travel within NSW.
