Your Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Store Manager to lead the continued growth of our Mount Druitt shop. This role is permanent, full-time and will work Tuesday to Saturday. The Store Manager will work hands-on in all aspects of store operations, inspire and develop a diverse team of employees and volunteers, and build positive connections with the locals and visitors alike. Your great stock management skills, overall store operations knowledge and experience, and people leadership skills are highly important for this role.
Your Responsibility
- Leading, growing and developing a team of paid employees and volunteers
- Ensuring extraordinary customer service is provided to every customer, every time
- Embedding exceptional operational and visual merchandise standards
- Meeting and exceeding sales and KPI performance of the store
- Champion the voice of the donor by upholding the highest standards in product sorting, pricing, and placement
- Building and supporting the volunteer workforce and engaging with the local community
- Role-modelling a 'safety first' culture in store
- Use the company’s mission and values to support decision making, act as a brand advocate inside and outside of the store
You Will Need
- Experience in managing retail stores, preferably fashion, and/or high-volume retail
- Strong leadership skills; with good fashion sense
- Strong focus on customer experience
- Proven people management skills or Experience in managing people, training and coaching
- Proven ability to track store sales performance and drive team towards meeting sales targets
