📍 Full-Time Role Based in Nowra: Monday to Friday (38 hours per week)

💵 Competitive Salary: SCHCADS Award Salary, LV5 ranging from $97K to $102K (depending on experience).

Your Role
As the Team Leader at Jim da Silva Farm, you’ll oversee supported accommodation services that provide stability, empowerment, and developmental opportunities for people with disabilities and individuals experiencing homelessness. You’ll lead a passionate team, ensuring high-quality services while fostering strong relationships with clients, community partners, and stakeholders. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to making a meaningful impact.
Your Responsibility
- Lead and mentor a team delivering community-based support and accommodation services.
- Coordinate day-to-day site operations, including vacancy management, rostering, and compliance.
- Develop and facilitate programs that promote social engagement, independent living skills, and personal growth.
- Build and maintain partnerships with external service providers and community networks.
- Monitor budget parameters and identify opportunities for service growth and improvement.
- Maintain compliance with NDIS Quality and Safeguard Standards, Assisted Boarding House Legislation, and WHS protocols.
- Participate in on-call roster support for staff, residents, and operational matters.
You Will Need
- Relevant qualifications: Minimum Cert IV in Human Services or a related field.
- Leadership experience: Proven ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
- Strong operational skills: Experience in service delivery, site management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Crisis management ability: Confidence in handling challenging situations and de-escalating conflicts
- NDIS and compliance knowledge: Understanding of industry standards, reporting, and safeguarding practices.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- First Aid certification and a NSW driver’s licence.
