Your Role
The Warehouse Supervisor role at Vinnies Return and Earn warehouse in Maitland 2320 is currently vacant. This permanent full-time role will report to the CDS Area Manager and is responsible for leading the overall operations at the site, and a team of warehouse assistants/ production hands. You will have well-rounded knowledge and experience relevant to the role and proven people leadership skills.
Your Responsibility
- Assign, plan and delegate work flow activities of the warehouse to ensure efficient and accurate processing of container deposits with minimum damage from handling
- Provide a safe environment for workers and visitors, ensuring that WHS procedures are understood and practiced always
- Monitor and coordinate bulk bin collections and safe truck movements on site by service partner
- Coordinate repairs, cleaning and maintenance of warehouse equipment
- Schedule and oversee the disposal of rejected containers or other waste items as appropriate
- Demonstrate team leadership via regular communication and attention to quality assurance and consistently high standards of performance.
You Will Need
- Demonstrated experience as Warehouse supervisor; proven leadership skills
- Experience in negotiation, conflict management skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS and effective implementation of safety procedures
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Current Driver Licence and Forklift Licence.
