Your Role

Your Responsibility

 

  • Engage and support clients facing homelessness and crisis situations, offering compassionate, practical help.

  • Conduct initial assessments and develop tailored support plans that empower each client’s journey.

  • Deliver outreach and in-home support, ensuring our clients feel safe, connected, and respected.

  • Build strong networks with local services, government agencies, and NGOs to achieve the best outcomes.

  • Maintain client records, uphold dignity and rights, and apply a non-judgmental, respectful approach in every interaction.

You Will Need

 

  • A minimum Cert IV in Welfare, Community Services, or a related field (or be actively studying toward it).

  • Experience supporting vulnerable or marginalised communities facing complex challenges like homelessness, domestic violence, or mental health issues.

  • A deep understanding of how issues like family breakdown, trauma, and addiction can impact lives.

  • Strong relationship-building, advocacy, and communication skills.

  • The ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.

  • A valid NSW Driver’s License.
