- SCHCADS Award hourly rates ranging from $44 to $48 (dependent on experience)

Your Role
Make a difference by supporting women and families experiencing homelessness. This impactful role offers the opportunity to provide compassionate casework, crisis intervention, and advocacy to those in need. You will be joining a compassionate and supportive team that values your expertise, prioritises your professional development, and empowers you to make a lasting difference in your local community.
Your Responsibility
- Deliver tailored support through client intakes, assessments, and case planning.
- Engage with individuals sleeping rough or at risk of homelessness, connecting them with life skills programs and essential services.
- Advocate for clients with government departments, courts, and service providers.
- Ensure a safe, welcoming environment for clients while maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders to build strong, supportive partnerships.
- Maintain professional records, meet service targets, and contribute to a safe workplace.
You Will Need
- TAFE Certificate IV or relevant tertiary study (completed or in progress).
- Proven experience supporting vulnerable people, especially those facing homelessness
- Knowledge of homelessness-related issues like mental health, addiction, and family breakdown.
- Excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to manage crises.
- NSW driver licence and proficiency in basic computer systems.
- Experience working with women/families will be highly regarded
