Your Role

 

We are seeking a Team Leader to support and guide a dedicated team of Case Workers delivering services to Women and Children experiencing homelessness. This is a diverse and rewarding role where your leadership will directly impact the quality and consistency of our case management services – helping more people move towards stable, independent living.

Your Responsibility

 

  • Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Case Work team

  • Promote a collaborative service culture within the team and with other services and stakeholders

  • Deliver client-focused, strengths-based case management

  • Develop and monitor goal-oriented case plans tailored to individual needs and recovery stages

  • Assist clients in ways that promote empowerment, independence, and reduce the risk of returning to homelessness

  • Maintain accurate client records, prepare reports and contribute to data and quality improvement activities

  • Participate in policy reviews, audits, and accreditation processes

  • Advocate for clients where required, including with courts, government bodies, and other agencies

  • Understand and work within budget constraints, offering improvement strategies where possible

You Will Need

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Services or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Strong background in case management or outreach, ideally within the homelessness sector

  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role

  • Skilled in negotiation, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication

  • Strong administrative, data management, and reporting capabilities

  • A commitment to ethical, non-judgemental, and client-focused practice

  • Knowledge of WHS and child protection legislation

  • Understanding of the housing and community services landscape

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management systems

  • NSW Driver Licence and ability to travel as required
