Your Role
This is a highly rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of women, with or without children, experiencing homelessness. Join our new Women’s Temporary Accommodation service in Swansea, providing trauma-informed, therapeutic case work support to help clients maintain stable housing, improve wellbeing, and access the services they need. You will be part of a collaborative, supportive team that values empathy, client-centred practice, and continuous learning.
Your Responsibility
- Deliver client-centred case management to support housing stability.

Build strong partnerships with community services, government agencies and NGOs.

Uphold clients’ rights with respect, confidentiality and a trauma-informed approach.

Develop, monitor and review case plans aligned with SHS guidelines.

Maintain accurate client records and meet service targets.

Supervise volunteers and students on placement.

Conduct risk assessments and promote workplace health and safety.

Participate in team meetings and ongoing training.
You Will Need

TAFE Certificate IV or working towards tertiary qualification in welfare or related field.

Experience supporting vulnerable women/children, ideally in a community services setting

Knowledge of homelessness issues and local support services.

Strong communication and computer skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Sound judgement in crisis situations.

NSW driver licence.
