Your Role

 

St Vincent de Paul Society is seeking an experienced and values-driven Team Leader to lead case management practice at Louise de Marillac House, supporting women experiencing homelessness and domestic and family violence. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will guide a dedicated team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed and housing-focused support, ensuring clients are supported into safe and sustainable housing outcomes.

 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Leading and supervising a case management team delivering homelessness and DFV support
  • Embedding a Housing First approach to improve housing outcomes
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including DFV networks and interagency forums
  • Supporting continuous improvement, accreditation and quality assurance activities
  • Contributing to budget awareness and service improvement initiatives
  • Ensuring compliance with legislative, policy and safeguarding requirements
  • Promoting a safe, respectful and accountable workplace in line with WHS obligations
  • Keeping practice aligned with current sector trends and DFV best practice

You Will Need

 

  • Relevant qualification in Social Work, Social Science, Community Welfare or equivalent experience
  • Extensive understanding of women’s homelessness and domestic and family violence in NSW
  • Experience in case management within homelessness, DFV or related community services
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Knowledge of child protection legislation and practice requirements
  • Confidence using case management systems and digital tools
  • NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel
  • This role has a genuine occupational requirement for a female worker under Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977.
