Your Role

 

Make a meaningful impact by delivering high-quality, person-centred care at Frederic House , a specialist aged care facility dedicated to supporting older men affected by homelessness, mental health challenges, and alcohol or drug dependence. In this deeply rewarding role, you’ll provide holistic care in an environment that prioritises empathy, dignity, and recovery. Collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team that shares your commitment to compassionate, respectful, and transformative care.You will be joining a supportive and inclusive team where you can contribute meaningfully to the community and make a real difference to people's lives

 

 

Your Responsibility

 

  • Provide care in line with individual care plans.

  • Uphold and exceed aged care accreditation standards.

  • Accurately administer medication and maintain clear documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with team members, families, and residents.

  • Contribute to care assessments and planning with registered nurses.

  • Support food service delivery and maintain hygiene standards.

  • Monitor residents’ health and respond to changes.

  • Ensure safety through proper use of equipment and protocols.

 

You Will Need

  • Certificate III in Aged Care (minimum requirement).

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A respectful, empathetic approach to resident care.

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

  • Proven ability to identify and respond to safety concerns.

  • Knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.

  • Completion or willingness to complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

  • Clearance checks: National Police Check, International Police Check (if required), NSW Working with Children Check (Employee), and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
