Your Role
As the Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator, you’ll design and deliver creative and meaningful programs and activities that reflect the goals,needs and preferences of our residents. This hands-on, people-focused role is grounded in connection, inclusion and empowerment. You’ll coordinate and lead a variety of creative programs, encourage participation, and help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved.
Your Responsibility

Coordinate and facilitate a range of engaging , person-centered activities in line with residents goals, needs and preferences.

Provide leadership and work collaboratively with the Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant to ensure programs are well-designed and engaging, and aligned with participant needs.

Use strong calendar management to ensure activities are timely, well-organised and responsive to client goals.

Build partnerships and collaborate with community organisations to enrich program offerings.

Promote high levels of client involvement through consultation, feedback, and co-design.

Foster a safe, welcoming and respectful environment for residents, visitors and stakeholders.

Contribute to strategic and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the quality of services.

Ensure activities planned and delivered in line with risk management, safety, and compliance requirements.
You Will Need
-
Tertiary qualifications and/or experience in community development, social work or a related field.

A understanding of the issues affecting people experiencing homelessness, trauma, mental health challenges or substance use.

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities with ease.

Computer savvy with strong admin skills.

A valid NSW driver’s licence and willingness to transport residents for outings and activities.
