Your Role
As a Registered Nurse at Frederic House, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents with complex health and social needs. The role combines strong clinical capability with empathy, resilience and sound judgement. You will play a key role in supporting residents to stabilise, maintain their health and engage with broader care and community supports.
Your Responsibility
- Provide safe, effective and person-centred nursing care
- Assess, plan and evaluate care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
- Support residents experiencing mental health and behavioural challenges
- Administer and manage medications in line with clinical standards
- Monitor health outcomes and maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Work closely with GPs, pharmacists and external health providers
- Contribute to a safe environment through strong clinical governance and risk management
You Will Need
- Registered Nurse with current registration through Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong clinical knowledge, including aged care and complex health conditions
- Understanding of mental health, substance dependence and homelessness
- Clear, confident communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Commitment to respectful, person-centred care
- Comfortable using clinical systems and digital tools
