Your Role
In this unique opportunity, you will report directly to the Director of Clinical Governance and Quality, working within a dedicated team to deliver our Care and Support Quality Framework across various services, including Housing & Homelessness, Health & Other Drug Services (AOD), and Diversity & Inclusion. Our team is dedicated to care, collaboration, and excellence as we empower Vinnies Services to meet regulatory standards and deliver high-quality care to those we assist.
Your stakeholder management skills will be essential in connecting with leaders across our diverse services. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating excellent communication and self-awareness when engaging with our employees at all levels of the organisation. You will be passionate about what you do every day and the difference you, our team and the wider Society make for those most disadvantaged in our communities.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and monitor the Care and Support Quality Framework alignment across the organisation
- Lead and support accreditation and audit processes in accordance with NDIS, ACQSC, RACGP, and clinical care standards.
- Develop and evaluate clinical care and operational practices ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, applicable legislation, and best practice
- Provide leadership in improving and sustaining the quality and effectiveness of clinical care and quality services delivered striving for excellence
- Develop and implement tools and resources to support internal quality audits
- Lead and oversee quality improvement projects /audits and monitor to support continuous improvement
- Provide leadership and direction to key staff & stakeholders who are developing local quality processes and procedures
- Develop quality assurance processes including audits to identify areas for improvement in service delivery
- Demonstrated capability and experience working with quality management systems that support incident and risk management processes
You Will Need
- In-depth knowledge and experience in quality management and contemporary approaches.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and experience in healthcare, social services, or related sectors such as disability services or aged care.
- A strong commitment to teamwork, with genuine motivation, passion, and a proactive attitude.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, demonstrating flexibility and high standards while serving as a positive role model.
- A proactive mindset and demonstrated capacity for continuous improvement.
- Experience in clinical incident management, investigations, and compliance reporting to regulatory bodies.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to adapt to changing circumstances and think creatively when addressing challenges.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including the ability to develop accurate reports, briefing papers, and other documents.
- A high-level understanding of current issues facing the not-for-profit sector and incorporated not-for-profit organisations.
