We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Site Supervisor to lead daily operations at our newly established site in Wyong. This role is ideal for an experienced operational leader who enjoys working alongside their team, delivering exceptional customer service, and taking ownership of site performance. This is not a desk-based position, approximately 90% of the role involves working on the floor, operating and overseeing machinery, supporting customers, managing workflow, and ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
As a key leader within the business, the successful candidate will work closely with the Area Manager and broader management team to establish strong operational practices, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to the long-term success of the site.
Your Responsibility
- Lead daily site operations and ensure all activities are completed safely and according to standard procedures
- Provide a safe environment for workers and visitors, ensuring that WHS procedures are understood and complied with at all times
- Provide hands-on support to the team, including machine operation and troubleshooting.
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.
- Monitor team performance and provide feedback to management
- Complete daily operational activities including labour-efficient rostering, approving employee timesheets and payroll submissions through company systems.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in Point of Sale (POS) transactions, ensuring timely reconciliation and accurate reporting of any variances.
- Lead by example in driving quality outcomes and continuous improvement initiatives
You Will Need
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in an operational environment
- A strong focus on safety, quality, customer service, and team development
- Strong customer service and customer engagement skills
- Experience in processing customer goods and managing customer transactions Point of Sale (POS) system experience
- Experience using computer-based payroll and rostering systems
- Availability to work the weekend - site is open 6 days – Monday to Saturday; with potential to open on Sundays
- Current Forklift Licence
- Reliable transport
