Your Role

The Estates and Gifts in Wills Coordinator is responsible for administering the organisation’s portfolio of legacies, gifts and estates that have been bequeathed to it.  The portfolio represents a significant fundraising stream requiring effective communication and coordination with external and internal stakeholders.  Your role’s objective is to maximise income from bequeathed estates while minimising financial losses arising from contested wills.  Demonstrated experience in Gifts in Wills and Estate administration is a key requirement for this role.

Your Responsibility

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external estate stakeholders and families
  • Consult the Manager, Gifts in Wills and Estates and the legal team on the administration and resolution of contested wills and estates
  • Manage estates correspondence with external stakeholders including solicitors, executors, accountants, families etc
  • Provide administration support to estate management including database management
  • Provide monthly reports on forecasts and actual income from estates
  • Support bequest events through event coordination and donor engagement

You Will Need

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in Gifts in Wills and Estate administration
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a high standard of integrity and confidentiality
  • Proven commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and stakeholder support
  • Highly developed collaboration, negotiation and relationship management skills
  • Current NSW driver licence.
